In the month of Metalúrgica Inca's birthday, the company received an important award in the 9th edition of the CIEE Best Internship Programs Award, promoted by the Center for Company-School Integration (CIEE) in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH-SP) and Toledo & Associados Research. The Inca received the honors on April 5 in the Socio Cultural Space of CIEE in São Paulo. The classification of the company was 1st place in the category of 21 to 40 trainees with a special tribute from INCLIE CIEE, who recognized the social work that the company has developed for several years with the APAE of our city. The award was received with great joy by the collaborators Mauro Magri, PatriciaZuchini and Tatiane Quilice, who were representing the company. Metalúrgica Inca has always supported and recognized the importance of the internship, since more than 40% of the company's staff were trainees.
This year, Inca participated with the Water Economics project in the administrative area toilets, where the valves were discharged with a conventional valve, which uses 12 liters per actuator per valve. duo system, that is, with two drive options where one releases 3 liters of water and the other 6 liters of water. According to data collected, daily 1008 liters of drinking water per day are used in the discharges of the toilets of the administrative area of the company, adding a week of 5 working days we have 5,040 liters.
Considering 22 working days in the month, we have a volume of 110,880 liters and in the year 1,330,560 liters of drinking water consumption in discharges of toilets in the administrative area, using a conventional hydra valve where in each drive uses an average of 12 liters.
Metalúrgica Inca, besides participating in the FIESP Prize Editions with projects related to rainwater harvesting and water reuse of its industrial process, also aims at other forms of economy through simple mechanisms with low cost, but with results that contribute to the environment.
In celebration of World Water Day, the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo - Fiesp, promoted the 10th Fiesp Conservation and Reuse of Water Award.
Metalúrgica Inca, participates in this event since its 3rd edition in 2008, adding 8 years of success and achievements.
The awards ceremony was held on March 24, at the headquarters of Fiesp, where Metallurgica Inca won, for the second time, the first place in the category.
In the Micro and Small Porte category, in 2014, Metalúrgica Inca implemented a new galvanizing line, a process to protect steel from atmospheric corrosion, in order to save up to 70% of water consumption compared to the previous process of manual galvanizing.
According to the company, in the exchange of chemical compounds as the degreaser, the water saving was 50%, since in manual zinc the exchange was weekly and in the automatic process, the exchange happens every 15 days.
In the rinsing operation, the economy was 62% because of an interconnected system of tanks that allows only one exchange. And in the process of bathing the economy reached 59%, since the flow control is automated.
Metalúrgica Inca obtained the first place, micro and small category, with its Water Reuse Plan of Compressors and Air. Located in Mococa (SP), the company made the total use of the waste water of the air conditioning to clean the factory and the waste water from the manufacture of compressed air to replace the cooling water box of the Zamac injection molds.
Environmental Indicator
One of the objectives of the award is to give wide publicity to the initiatives adopted by the industrial sector, in addition to rewarding companies for their performance, with trophies, stamps, honorable mention plates and certificates of participation, as well as a trip - offered by the magazine Meio Ambiente Industrial.
The Prize also becomes an environmental indicator when forming a collection of cases in the state. In this sixth edition, 21 companies from the most diverse segments: chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food and beverage, paper and pulp, automotive and auto parts, electronics, metallurgy, ceramic and household appliances.

The Industrial Social Service (Sesi) received on Thursday (31), at Fiesp headquarters, the companies that stood out in 2010 in sustainable practices and differentiated management actions. More than 100 people, including representatives and company workers, were present at the ceremony.
